Abstract
Background. With the development of information technologies in the modern world, a large amount of information has fallen on a person, including information that does not correspond to reality and undermines established value orientations, incites ethnic strife, etc. In the light of these processes, the study of censorship measures in Soviet Russia, especially in the early years of Soviet power, is of interest to historians and legal scholars due to the fact that it was during this period that a large volume of normative legal acts regulating the creation of special bodies and censorship measures were developed, which later served as the foundation for evolutionary development. This process took place during the Soviet period of the historical development of our state. The purpose of this work is to determine the main goals, features and main trends of this process in the context of the formation of social socialist consciousness based on the study and analysis of normative legal acts regulating the creation of special bodies for censorship of mass entertainment events in the period under study. Materials and methods. The implementation of research tasks was achieved on the basis of an analysis and generalization of normative legal acts and available scientific literature on the issue under study in order to establish the characteristic features of censorship measures during the period under study. Results. The normative legal acts regulating the implementation of censorship regarding mass entertainment events and repertoire are investigated. Conclusions. In the process of studying and analyzing normative legal acts regulating the organization and conduct of censorship in the early years of Soviet power, the features of the implementation of this procedure, its main purpose and importance for the formation of a social socialist worldview are determined; the main trends in this area are outlined.
